Waves of Hope 2025 was a great success!

This year, Waves of Hope has been nothing short of incredible! With volunteers from around the world, we were able to provide homes for 25 families and bring joy to countless children through summer camps in the area.

One of our staff, Sonya, worked with a team to build a house for Maria. In 2022, her home was destroyed in an attack, and both she and her husband were injured. Tragically, her husband later passed away, leaving Maria alone amidst the ruins. She had lost hope, unsure if life could ever be restored.

Then our team showed up—and in just five days, we built her a new home. Maria shared, “I didn’t want to live, but now I do.”

Today, Maria’s house is more than just a home—it’s a bright testimony for the whole community: that good still prevails, no one is forgotten, and God can bring restoration even from the darkest moments.
